An Ordinance to establish and regulate certain Fees to be taken for Duties to be performed under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1854.

Whereas it is expedient to fix a Tariff of Fees to be levied and taken in the Colony of Hongkong in respect of certain Duties to be performed under "The Merchant Shipping Act, 1854"-Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

I. That the respective Fees specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed shall be paid and taken, and may be sued for, by the Officer for the Time being discharging the schedule to be levied. Duties of Principal Officer of Customs in Hongkong under the Provisions of the Mer- chant Shipping Act, 1854, as the lawful Fees for the Discharge of the respective Duties therein specified.
