this Court at the Suit of the above named Stephen Prentis Hall, against the above named James Wilson, William Moakes Barton, Walter Slater and Walter Slater, to recover the sum o Eleven thousand three hundred and twenty dollars and eighty cents being the amount of the Plaintiff's claim against the said Defendants, as owners of the British vessel Chille Harold for repairs done to the said vessel, goods sold and delivered, and work and labour done and materials provided by the said Plaintiff, and money paid by the said Plaintiff for the said Defendants, and for the hire of docks in which to repair the said vessel, together with interest ou the said amount from the First day of October instant, and it being alleged that the said James Wilson, William Moakes Barton, Walter Slater and Walter Slater do not reside

within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued re urnable on the Thirteenth day of November, One Elhousand eight hundred and sixty one, wherein John Me- Laren and the firm of Siemssen and Con pany of Hongkong aforesaid, of which Waldemar Nissen and Ludwig Wiese am the resident partners, are Garnishees. Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final Judgment in this action the said James Wilson, William Moakes Barton, Walter Stater, and Walter Slater or any person on their behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearence or Plea required by the Ordinance of this Island entitled “ An Ordi- nance to provide for aud regulate Process in netion at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved. and JAMES WILSON, WILLIAM MOAKES BARTON, WALTER SLATES, and WALTER SLATER, Defendants. THEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the Suit of the above named William Addenbrooke Bowra against the above named James Wilson, William Morkes Barton, Walter Slater, and Walt later, to wcover the sum of One thousand eight hundred and seventy dollars and forty-six cents, being the amount of the Plaintiff's claim against the said Defendants as owners of the British vessel Childe Harold for gools sold and delivered together with interest thereon from the Sceenth day of June last, and it being alleged that the said James Wilson, | William Menkes Barton, Walter Slater, Aud Walter Slator do not reside within this Island or its Dependencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Thirteenth day of November. 1841, wherein Jolm Melaren aud the firm of Siemson and Company of Hongkong aforesaid, of which Waldemar Nissen and Ladwig Wiese are the resident partners, are Garnishoes.
