ANCE OFFICE, being a Joint Stock Compa- my duly registered under an Act for the Regulation of Registered Joint Stock Cam- panies Adjudged to have committed an Act of Forfeiture pursuing ie the Provisions of the Act No. XLIH of 185), passed by the Honorable the President of the Council of India in Council on the Tuvaty-seventh of December, One thousand Eight hundred and Fifty, entiled “An Act for the Regn- lation of the Registered Joint Stock Com- panies."

Upon reading a Petition of John Cochrane, Esquire, Official A signee and Assignee of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE, and his Affidavit in verification thereof filed, this day; and also upon reading an order made in this matter on the Thirteenth day of April lust, whereby it was ordered that the said Assignee should be at liberty to raise by contribution of the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE ÖF- FICE for the satisfaction of the debts and other claims against the said Company the further sum of Company's Rupees One thousand in respect of each share held by them respestively in the said Company; and upon the application of Mr. Hatch, Attorney; for the said Assignee :-It is ordered that such of the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MA- RINE INSURANCE OFFICE, resident in Calcutta or the Suburbs thereof, as have neglected to pay the said sum of Company's Rupees One thousand at which they have been respectively assessed in res- peet of each share held by them respectively in the Said ASTATIC MARINE INSURANCE ÖFFICE, do on or before the First day of August next pay to the said Official Assignee the said Sum of Company's Rupees One thousand at which they have been respectively assessed as aforesaid, and that the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE IN- SURANCE OFFICE resident in Hongkong and in Bombay do on or before the First day of October next, and that the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCE OFFICE resident in the Mauritius and in Great Britain and all other places not herein specifically mentioned do on or before

| day of December next; and in the Bombay Gazette and in the London Gazette, and in the Principal Newspapers of Hongkong and the Mauritius, and that the Chief Clerk of this Court do publish the sub-tance of this Order once every month until the menth of December next in the Calcutta Gazette.

TOTICE is hereby given that by an order of this Court, bearing date the Fourth day of May instant, the Shareholders of the said ASIATIC MARINE INSURANCEÖFFICE are required to pay the further sum of Company's Rupees ONETnot- SAND, assessed in respect of each share held by the respectively, on or before the following dates, that is to say. the Shareholders resident in Calcutta or

the Suburbs thereof on or before the First day of August next, the Shareholders resident in Hong- kong and Bombay on or before the First day of Ocigher next, and the Shareholders resident in Great Britain, and all other places not mentioned in the said order, en or before the First day of December next; and that in default thereof the Official Assignee will be at liberty to apply that the defaulting Shareholders be adjudged to have committed an Act of Insolvency, according to the Provisions of the Indian Insolvent Act, Dated this 6th May, 1861.

And it is further ordered that Notice of this order he publish- ed in the Englishman and the Bengal Hurkaru, Newspapers of Calcutta, and in the Calcutta Ex- change Gazette once every month until the first

Contents and Value of Packages are required. *.* A written declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages for the Overland Route is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be delivered by the Shippers to the Com- pany's Agents with the Bill of Lading, or with Parcels; and the Company do not hold them- selves responsible for any Detention or Preju- dice which may happen from incorrectness on such declaration, Shippers of Cargo on the Company's Black Bills of Lading are particu- larly requested to note the Terms and Conditions of these Bills of Lading, with reference to the Transhipment and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequateness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.
