VIII. All Monics which under any of the said Clauses of the said Merchant Shipping Act 1854, are to be paid either to the Mercantile Marine Fund or into the Colony. receipt of Her Majesty's Exchequer shall be paid to the Colonial Treasurer and shall form part of the General Revenue of the Colony.

IX. A Separate Account shall be kept by the Colonial Treasurer of all Monies salvage Accouat tɔ reccived and paid under authority of this Ordinance, and such Account shall be called be kept." the Salvage Account.

An Ordinance to apply a Sum not exceeding Sixty-ight thousand one hundred Pounds to the Public Service of the Year 1862.

Title.

Whereas the Expenditure required for the Service of this Colony for the Year Preamble. 1862 has been estimated at the Sum of Sixty-eight thousand and ninety-eight Pounds, and twelve shillings: Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

A. Sum not exceeding Sixty-eight thousand one hundred Pounds shall be and the Estimates. 1862. same is hereby charged upon the Revenue of this Colony for the Service of the Year 1862, and the said Sum so charged shall be expended as hereinafter specified, that is to
