It is hereby notified that, until further notice, in addition to the Notes of the Oriental Bank Corporation, Chartered Mercantile Bank of India, London and China, and the Agra and United Service Bank, those of the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China will be received at the Colonial Treasury and by the Collectors of Colonial Revenue, in payment of Government dues.

It is hereby notified that, in consequence of there being several typographical errors in the reprint of the "Merchant Shipping Act Amendment Act, 1862," published in the Gazette of the 22nd Ultimo, His Excellency the Acting Governor has directed the Act to be reprinted separately, and a copy will be forwarded with this Gazette.

In consequence of the Tender for building Floating Police Stations which was accepted having been made under a misapprehension, it is hereby notified that Fresh Tenders will be received at this. Office, until Noon on Monday the 29th instant, from persons willing to contract for the building of two Boats to be used as Floating Police Stations in Victoria Harbour.
Plan, Specification and further particulars can be obtained at the Harbour Master's Office. Tenders must state the time within which it is proposed to complete the work, and the person whose tender is accepted will be called upon to enter into a Bond to the Crown for the due perfor- mance of the contract.
