THE TREASURY, NEW SOUTH WALES, 2nd MAY, 1862. EDEN HARBOR LIGHT, TWOFOLD BAY.
It having been found necessary to correct the Latitude of Eden Harbor Light, as stated in the Government Notice, dated 22nd ultimo, the following description is now published for general infor.nation.
EDEN HARBOR LIGHT, TWOFOLD BAY.

The Light House is a white tower, built of wood-is 38 feet high to the centre of the Lantern, and built on the southern extremity of "Look-out Point," 102 feet above the level of the sea. The Light consequently will be 140 feet above that level, and will be seen in clear weather from a ship's deck at a distance of nine miles, shewing a fixed RED light.
The Light House is situated in latitude 37° 4′ 30′′ south, longitude 149° 55′ 30′′ east, from which the following bearings are taken:
North point of Twofold Bay or Mewstone Point, north 40° east.
South Point or Red Head, south, 60° east.
Jew's Point, south 50° east.
East Boyd, south 32° east.
The Church at West Boyd, south 40° west.
Mount Imlay, south 45° west.
The light will be visible, seaward, from all points of an arc of 85°.
The point on which the Lighthouse is erected should not be approached within two cables' length, when rounding the Light, there being many detached rocks within that distance.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
Sealed Tenders will be received at this Office up to noon of Monday the 14th Instant, for the privilege of Slaughtering Cattle in the Eastern Slaughter House from the 16th Instant to the 30th June, 1863, inclusive.
The conditions shall be such as are set forth in the Markets' Ordinance 1858, and the Bye-Laws issued thereunder, and shall be subject to such modification as may be made by any subsequent revi- sion of that Ordinance or of those Bye-Laws.
Each Tender must be addressed to the Colonial Secretary, and state the amount offered as Rent for the period specified, which Rent shall be payable monthly in advance-the first payment to be made on the 16th Instant, and to include the month of August.
Persons tendering are required to be in attendance at this Office on the 14th Instant, at Noon.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
Notice having been given, that the present Contract for printing the Government Gazette, and executing the general Printing required by this Government (except the Chinese Gazette) will expire on the 31st of December next, it is hereby intimated for general information, that Tenders for printing the said Gazettes, and executing such other Printing Work, will be received at this Office up to 4 P.M. on Friday, the 15th Proximo.
Tenders must specify the terms on which the Gazette will be undertaken, and also the terms for supplying Copies of Ordinances, Notifications, &c., made up into pages from the Gazette without alteration of width.
The charge for printing and publishing the Chinese Gazette from the 1st May next (the date of expiry of the present Contract) to the 31st December, 1863.
The charge for Table and intricate Tabular Work must also be specifically stated.
The Tenders for Job Printing must be separate, stating the rate per page of Foolscap.
Eighty Copies of each issue of the Gazette will be required for the Government, and the Printer
will be expected to keep a sufficient number on hand for the supply of the Public.
Paper for the Gazette, and the Chinese Gazette, must be found by the Contractor; for the Job Printing it will be furnished by the Government.
Any further information that may be required will be supplied at the Office of the Auditor General.
