By His Excellency Sir HERCULES GEORGE ROBERT ROBINSON, Knight, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice- Admiral of the same, with the Advice of the Legislative Council of Hongkong.
An Ordinance to alter the form in which Sentence of Dead is passed.

Whereas it has become necessary to alter the form in which Sentence of Death is passed: Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
I. In passing Sentence of Death on a Prisoner convicted of a Capital Felony, it passing Sentence of shall not be necessary for the Presiding Judge to declare that the Body of the Convict of Convict to be buried shall be buried within the precincts of the Gaol, but that such Burial shall be made in some convenient place to be appointed by His Excellency the Governor, who is hereby empowered to issue his order to the Gaoler accordingly.

Be it enacted and ordained by His Excellency the Governor of Hongkong, with of 1858 repealed from the Advice of the Legislative Council thereof, that Ordinance No. 12 of 1858, entitled
“An Ordinance for Practitioners in Law,” shall be repealed from and after the day of
1863.
