(Robert Scott Walker and Thomas S. Borradaile trading under the name or firm of Walker, Borradaile and Company, Plaintiffs; and James
Burness, Defendant.
HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named Robert Scott Walker and Thomas Salkeld Bora- daile against the above named James Burness to recover the sum of Three thousand dollars for monies paid by the said Plaintiffs for the said De- fendant at his request and for work and labour done for the said Defendant and for interest upon and for forbearance at interest by the said Plaintiffs to the Defendant at his request of monies owing from the Defendant to the Plaintiffs and for money found to be due from the said Defendant to the said Plaintiffs on account stated. And it being alleged that the said James Burness does not reside within this Island or its dependencies, a writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Sixteenth day of May wherein Thomas Sutherland is Garnishee, Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judg- ment in this action the said James Durness or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled “An Ordi- Dance to provide and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony " the said attachment may be dissolved.

Shippers of Cargo on the Company's Black Bills of Lading are partien- larly requested to note the Terms and Conditions of these Bills of Lading, with reference to the Transshipment and forwarding of Cargo, with a view to the adequateness of their Insurance Policies in respect of the same.
