NOTICE.
E next CRIMINAL SESSIONS of the Supreme Court will be held on Tuesday the 18th day of March, A.D. 1862, at Ten o'clock in the forenoon.

HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named William Pustau, William Probst, Julius Menke, and William Van Reesema against the above named Francisco Salvador Alvarez to recover the sum of Nine thousand and six hundred Dollars for principal money upon and by virtue of two Bills of Exchange drawn by the said Defendant using the name, style, or firm of Alvarez & Co, in Hongkong upon Messrs. Frederick Huth & Co., Loudon, for the sum respectively of £1000 each to the order of the said Plaintiffs, and which said Bills have respectively been refused payment by the said Messrs. Frederick Huth & Co., and the same has been duly protested for such non-pay- ment at a day now past. And also the sum of Three thousand Dollars for interest, exchange and re-exchange upon the said Bills and upon and for the non-payment and return thereof, and the sum of Thirteen thousand Dollars for money lent by the said Plaintiffs to the said Defendant and for money paid by the said Plaintiffs for the use of the said Defendant at his request, and for money found to be due upon an account stated between the said Defendant and the said Plaintiffs. And it being alleged that the said Francisco Sal- vador Alvarez does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the 24th day of March instant wherein -.
