GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
All Parties still indebted for Police, Lighting and Water Rates for the several Quarters now expired, are requested to pay the same at the Treasury on or before the 1st Proximo, after which date all claims in Arrears of the specified Rates will be transmitted for recovery to the Court of Summary Jurisdiction.

Applications for Passage Broker's Licenses for the Year 1865, under Ordinance No. 11 of 1857, will be received at this Office from this date up to the 31st December next.
Applicants are requested to state the names and addresses of the Parties they offer as Sureties, under Clause I. of the Ordinance aforesaid.
Medical Men desirous of practising under the Emigration Act and Local Emigration Ordinances whose Diplomas are not already registered are requested to send them to this Office for Registration, otherwise their Certificates will not be received.
