On 25th January the Defendants did unlawfully have in their possession on board of licensed Cargo Boat No. 38, 3 peculs and 83 catties of Cotton having reason- able cause to believe the same to have been stolen.
The Defendant Ng-Asam being the Master in charge of the said licensed Cargo Boat No. 38 did unlawfully fit up certain secret lockers on board for the purpose of fraudulently concealing Goods therein.
The Defendants Chu-Afook, Chun-Afoo, Cheong- Asam, and Low-Ang did unlawfully work on board the said licensed Cargo Boat No. 38 in the capacity of Boatmen, without being in possession of License Tickets. 7
On 6th February for having 42 cattles of Cotton in their possession in a secret locker on board a licensed Cargo Boat in the Harbour.
On 20th February for plying 2nd class Cargo Boats for hire in the Harbour without License.
On 22nd February for plying a Cargo Boat for hire in the Harbour without a License.
On 22nd February for plying 2nd class Cargo Boats for hire in the Harbour without a License.
Fined $25 each, in default two months' imprison- ment.
Fined $50, in default six months' imprisonment & the Boat to bo confiscated and sold.
