Old Ouchterlony Fort, near the Gass Works, West Point. The Stone consists of Split Granite measuring, more or less, 4,000 cubic feet, and one month will be allowed to the purchasers, for its removal, from the date of sale.

IT having come to the knowledge of the Officers
of the Corporation in China that the $25 notes of the Bank have been imitated, and that several of these forged notes have got into circu- lation: It has been resolved to cancel the present issue of $25 notes and issue new ones of a different design. In accordance with this resolution all persons are cautioned against taking any of the $25 notes of the Bank, and all holders of such notes are requested to present them at the Bank's Office in Hongkong where they will receive dol- lars for them.
