Aud all Persons Indebted to the said Estate are hereby requested to pay the amount of their Debts to the undersigned, without delay.

The Company has authority to grant Insur-M

ance on all Cargo conveyed by its Vessels, at a premium of 14 per cent upon Merchandize, and 1 per cent on Treasure, from Hongkong to Lyons, Paris, London, and Holland, and pro- portionally for places this side of Sucź.

Cargo will be received on board until 4 o'clock of the 22nd December, Specie and Parcels until 5 o'clock of the 23rd.

A Written Declaration of the Contents and Value of the Packages destined beyond Suez is required by the Egyptian Government, and must be furnished by the Shippers to the Agent with the Bills of Lading; and the Company will not be responsible for any consequence or prejudice which may ensue from an incorrect declaration. For particulars respecting Freight and Pas- sage, apply at the Company's Office, Queen's Road.

NOTICE. (IRCUMSTANCES have occurred in Bombay to induce me to resume the Family business connexiou in that City established nearly a Century ago by my Grand-Uncle, the late Jolin Forbes, Esq. of Newe, and continued by my Father, the late Sir Charles Forbes, up to the period of his death in 1840. With that object in view I have arranged to establish a House in Bombay under the designation of "SIR CHARLES FORBES & Co." for the conducting of Banking and Agency business only.

My Partners are Mr. HENRY FORMAN, of Bom- bay; my son Mr. GEORGE STEWART FORBES, of Aslown, Aberdeenshire; Mr. ANDREW JOHN MACDONALD, for some years a confidential assistant of Messrs. Forbes, Forbes & Co.; and Mr. HENRY RANDALL CORMACK, son of the

late Mr. Henry Cormack, Merchant, Bombay. The resident Partners in Bombay will be Mr. FORMAN, Mr. MACDONALD, and Mr. CORMACK.
