HEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the abovenamed nk of India against the above named Byranjee volusjee Cama, trading as aforesaid, to re-

Thirty-four thowand Six hundred and At Dollars for that the Defendant trading as resaid on the Twenty-fifth day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred And Sixty-five at Hongkong by his two several Foreign Bills of Exchange directed to Messieurs Berjee Cama and Son, London, required the

Byramjee Cama and Son to pay to the order themselves Seven thousand pounds Sterling, * months' after date; aud the said Bills were dly presented for acceptance and were dishonor- whereupon the said Bills were duly protested ir non-acceptance thereof of all which the De- Dedant had due notice, but did not pay the said Bals; and by reasou of the premises the Plaintiff iscurred expenses in and about the presenting, *ting, protesting and re-exchange of the said hills and incidental to the dishonor thereof and so for money payable by the Defendant to the Plaintiff for interest upon money due from the Defendant to the Plaintiff and forborne at interest

the Plaintiff to the Defendant at his request, and it being alleged that the said Byramjee Hormusjec Cana, trading as aforesaid, does not reside within the Island of Hongkong and its Dependencies, a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Fourteenth day of August next, wherein Pestonjce Aspundiarjee Metta and Albert Farley Heard and George F. Heard, the resident partners of Augustine Heard and Company, of Hongkong, Merchants, are Garnishees.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action the said Byramjee Hormu jee Cama trading as aforesaid or any person on his behalf will give the security and Notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An Ordinance to provide and regulate procecs in Actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said Attachment may be dissolved.

from the date hereof, to prove his or their claim to the Lot of Ground and Premises, registered in the Laud Office of this Colony, as Section D of Marine Lot No. 84, and to the rents issues and profits thereof now standing to the credit of this suit, or in default thereof, the said Lot of Ground and Premises will be sold pursuant to the said Decree.
