Defendant at his request and for money lent by the Plaintiffs to the Defendant and for interest upon money due from the Defendant to the Plaintiffs and forborne at interest by the Plain- tiffs to the Defendant at his request and for money found to be due from the Defendant to the Plain- tiffs on accounts stated between them; and it being alleged that the said John Murray Purvis does not reside within this Island or its Depen- dencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Seventh day of August next, wherein William Burrow Haffenden, of Hongkong, Master of the ship or vessel the Union, Pestonjce Aspundiarjee Metta, of Hong- kong, Merchant, and George Farley Heard, of the same place, Merchant, arc Garnishees;

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this Action the said John Murray Purvis or any person on his behalf will give the security and Notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordi- nance of this Island intituled “An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony" | the said Attachment may be dissolved.

And it being alleged that the suid Ghellabhoy Pudumsey, Luckumsey Sewjee, Megjce Ghellabhoy and Nagsey Natha do not reside within the Island of Hongkong and its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Thirty-first day of July instant, wherein the IIonorable Thomas Sutherland of Hongkong, Superintendent of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Com- pany, is Garnishes.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final Judgment in this action the said Chellabhoy Pudumsey, Luckumsey Sewjee, Megjee Ghellabhoy, and Nagsey Natha (trading as aforesaid) or any person on their behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent frons the Colony" the said attach- ment may be dissolved,

BYRAMJEE HORMUSJEE CAMA trading under the name, style or firm of H. B. CAMA AND COMPANY, Deft. HEREAS an action has been commenced in this Court at the suit of the above named Chartered Bank of India Australia and China against the above named Byramjee Hormusjee Cama trading as aforesaid to recover six thousand Five hundred Dollars for that J. Purvis and Son on the thirteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five by their Bill of Exchange now overdue directed to the Defendant trading as aforesaid, required the Defendant to pay to the said J. Purvis and Son or order Six thousand two hundred Dollars only thirty days- after sight, aud the Defendant trading as aforesaid accepted the said Bill and the sail J. Purvis and Son endorsed the same to the Plaintiff but the Defendant did not pay the same and by reason thereof the Plaintiff incurred expenses in and about the presenting and noting of the said Bill and incidental to the dishonor thereof; and for money payable by the Defendant to the Plaintiff för interest upon money due from the Defendaut to the Plaintiff and forborne at interest by the Plaintiff to the Defendant at his request. it being alleged that the said. Byramjee Hormusjer Cama trading as aforesaid does not reside within the Island of Hongkong and its Dependencies, a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued re- turnable on the Thirty-first day of July instant, wherein Pestonjee Aspundiarjee Metta, and Albert Farley Icard and George F. Heard, the resident partners of Augustine Heard and Company, of Victoria aforesaid, Merchants, are Garnishers.

Notice is hereby given thereof and that if at any time before final judgment in this action the said Byramjee Hormusjee Cama trading as afore- said or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled "An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in actions at Law against persons absent from the Colony" the said Attachment may be dissolved,
