Spa--I transmit to you herewith, for your information and guidance, a copy of a Letter from the War Office, with a --La Cirenlar Memorandum issued from the Horse Guards, directing that the Regulation therein contained, prescribing Relative Rank of Officers of Yeomanry and Volunteer Corps with that of Officers of the Regular, Fencible and Militia be substituted for that previously included in the book of Queen's Regulations on the subject, and enclosing also a y of a General Order, dated the 16th August last, directing that the above Regulation shall be held applicable also to cers of Colonial Militia, Yeomanry and Volunteer Corps.-I have the honor to be, Sir, Your most obedient humble Servant,
