LEY, HENRY WILLIAM DENT, ALEX- ANDER TURING, and HANS PETER HANSSEN, trading together in partnership as Merchants at Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, and in the empire of China, under the style or firm of Dent Company, having been adjudged Bankrupts Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy in the Supreme Court on the Twenty-ninth Pay of June, in the year of our Lord One housand Eight hundred and Sixty-seven, are hereby required to surrender themselves to Wil- liam Hags Alexander, Esquire, Registrar of the said Suprem Court, at the first Meeting of Credits, to be held before the said Registrar ap the Thirteenth day of January, One thou- and Eight hundred and Sixty-eight at eleven of the clock in the forenoon precisely, at the said Court.

All persons having in their possession any of the Effects of the said Bankrupts must deliver them to the said Acting Deputy Registrar, and ail Debts due to the Bankrupts must be paid to the said Acting Deputy Registrar.

nounce that we have purchased the Stock in Trade and Furniture belonging to the Tai- Shing Ilong, situated in Nos. 43, 85 & 87, Bouhiam Strand, West. The transaction has this day been settled. The Shop is now undergoing repairs and will be ready very shortly for business. If any money loan or other debts are due to either Chinese or Foreigners by the said Tai-Shing, we the undersigned do not hold ourselves responsi- ble for payment of the same. We therefore hereby give special notice, in order to prevent disputes in future.
