IN THE SUPREME COURT
OF HONGKONG IN BANKRUPTCY.
NOTICE THOMAS CUSHING MAUD, OF PRE-
der's Hill, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong- kong, Mercantile Assistant, and some time since carrying on business at Victoria aforesaid, as the Proprietor of certain Saw and Rice Mills, and as a General Commission Agent, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong in Bankruptcy on the Fif- teenth day of November, A.D., 1867, is hereby required to surrender himself to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Registrar of the said Court, at the first Meeting of his Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar on the Fifth day of December next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon precisely, at the said Court.
Mr. Villiam Hastings Alexander is the Official Assignee, and Mr. Edmund Sharp is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.
A public sitting will be appointed by the Court for the said Bankrupt to pass bis last examina- tion, of which sitting notice will be given in the Hongkong Government Gazette.
At the first Meeting of Creditors the Re- gistrar will receive the proofs of the debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignee or Assignees of the Bankrupt's estato and effects. At the public sitting, proofs of debts of Creditors will be received and the Bankrupt will be required to submit himself to be examined and to make a full disclosure and discovery of all his estate and effects and to finish his examina- tion.
Notice is also hereby given to all persons indebted to the said Bankrupt or that have any of his effects not to deliver the same but to the Official Assignee and to give notice to the Soli- citor acting in the Bankruptcy.
