LOAW WAH THIAW, Defendant.

HEREAS an Action has been commenced in this Honorable Court at the suit of the above named Soon Ann against the above named Loaw Wah Thiaw to recover the sum of Two thousand Four hundred Dollars for money found to be due from the said Defendant to the said Soon Ann on an account stated between them; and it being alleged that the said Loaw Wah Thiaw does not reside within this Island or its Dependencies a Writ of Foreign Attachment has been issued returnable on the Fourteenth day of October, next, where': Cheang of Victoria, in the Island of Hongkong, Master or Manager of the Lorcha or Vessel "Kam Cheoug Fat" is Garnishee.

Notice is hereby given that if at any time. before final judgment in this action th said Loaw Wah Thiaw or any person on his behalf will give the security and notice and file the appearance or plea required by the Ordinance of this Island intituled An Ordinance to provide for and regulate process in action at Law against persons absent from the Colony," the said attachment may be dissolved.

in the Colony of Hongkong in copartnership with one W. Detmering, under the style or firm of Reimann and Company, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy filed in the Supreme Court on the Seventeenth day of August, 1867, is hereby required to surrender himself to Norman Ramsay Masson, Esquire, the Acting Registrar of the said Supreme Court, at the first Meeting of Creditors to be held before the said Acting Regis- trar on the Seventeenth day of October next, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely, at the said Court.

Carg and Specie will be registered for London as well as for Marseilles, and accepted in transit through Marseilles for the principal places of Europe.

Cargo will be rereived on board until 4 P.M. of the 21st Instant, Specie and Parcels until 5 P.M. of the 22nd Instant. (Parcels are not to be sent on board; they must be left at the Agency's Office.)
