GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

The New Edition of the Ordinances of Hongkong having been received from home, and placed according to Clause 5 of No. 7 of 1864 in the Colonial Treasury, it is hereby notified that for the convenience of the Public copies of the same reserved for sale are deposited with Mr. D. Noronha, the Government Printer, from whom they may be obtained at the cost of $5 a Copy.

A List of Errata is prepared, and will be issued gratis to the purchaser of each Copy.

GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.

POLICE, LIGHTING AND WATER RATES.

The Owners of Tenements assessed to the Police, Lighting and Water Rates for the current year are reminded that the Rates for the Second quarter are payable at the Treasury during the present month on or before the 30th instant; after which date the Rates unpaid are recoverable by application for Summary Warrants to the Court of Summary Jurisdiction.
