Notice is hereby given that EDWARD BROWN, Police Constable, has this day been dismissed from the Police Force of this Government, and the Public, especially Chinese Residents, are requested to bear in mind that the said EDWARD BROWN has no connection whatever with the Public Service from this date.

The following Gentlemen have been nominated by His Excellency the GOVERNOR, Cathedral Trustees on behalf of Government for the Year 1867-68, under the Provisions of Ordinances No. 2 of 1847 and No. 3 of 1850-
The Honorable JOHN DENT, WILBERFORCE WILSON, Esquire, CECIL C. SMITH, Esquire, and NORMAN R. MASSON, Esquire;
and F. W. MITCHELL, Esquire, is appointed on the same behalf, Auditor of Cathedral Accounts for the said Year.
It has also been notified to this Government, that FRANCIS PARRY, Esquire, and E. H. POLLARD, Esquire, Q.C., have been elected Trustees, and W. C. HUNTER, Esquire, Auditor on behalf of the Seat- holders.
