THE Undersigned begs respectfully to state that the two shops, Nos. 39 and 41, in Bonham Strand, trading under the style of Kum Cheung Tai, and Lai Lung have been opened many years and no irregularities have ever occurred and that after the shops were burnt down by the late fire on the 11th Moon last year, Yü Fei Mau and Tam Pun, partners of the same firms, were desirous of looking for some other business, they conse quently gave up their former business and sold their shares to the other members of the firmus, they have received back the capital money and interest of their shares and a note of transfer of business had been written out to the other owners, so that hereafter if the business of the said shops either profit or lose, they will have nothing to do with the said Yi Fei Mau and Tam Pun,
