the Colony of Hongkong, Hotel-keeper, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Su- preme Court on the Twenty-first day of April, 1868, a Public Sitting for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examination, and make application for his discharge, will be held before the Honorable John Smale. Esquire, Chief Justice of the said Court, at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, Hongkong, on the Twenty-secand day of May instant, at Eleven of the clock in the forenoon precisely.
At this Meeting, Proofs of the Debts of the Creditors will be received.

OTICE.-The Public Sitting for the above named Bankrupt to pass his last examina- tion, and make application for his order of dis- charge adjourned from the 16th day of Decem- ber, 1867, will be held before The Honorable John Smale, Esquire, Chief Justice of the said Court, at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, Hongkong, on Monday, the 25th day of May, 1858, at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon.
The Acting Deputy Registrar of the said Court is the Official Assignee, and Mr. Edmund Sharp is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

HE Undersigned begs respectfully to state that
Strand, trading under the style of Kum Cheung Tai, and Lai Lung have been opened many years and no irregularities have ever occurred and that after the shops were burnt down by the late fire on the 11th Moon last year, Yi Fei Mau and Tam Pun, partners of the same firms, were desirous of looking for some other business, they conse- quently gave up their former business and sold their shares to the other members of the frus, they have received back the capital money and
interest of their shares and a note of transfer of business had been written out to the other owners, so that hereafter if the business of the said shops either profit or lose, they will have nothing to do with the said Yi Fei Mau and Tam Pun.
Published by the Owners of the Kum Cheung Tai and Lai Lung shops.
