THE BANKRUPTCY ORDINANCE, 1864."

In the Matter of a Deed of Assignment dated the 23rd day of August, 1867, aud made by Cain Casimir David, lately trading at Hongkong under the style or firm of "H. Marsh & Co.," to George Reinhold Lammert and Alphonse Bonnal, as Trustees for the Creditors of the said Cain Casimir David, and duly registered under the said Ordinance.

OTICE is hereby given, that such of the Creditors of the said Cain Casimir David, as have not sent in and proved their Debts to the satisfaction of the said Trustees, and have not assented to the said Deed (which now lies at the office of me, the undersigned, Bank Buildings, Hongkong), are hereby required to do so before the Tenth day of May, next, at which date the said Trustees will distribute the Assets which shall have come into their hands under the said Deed, having regard to the claims of these Creditors only who shall have assented to the said Deed, and the particulars of which shall have been for- warded to the said Trustees and approved by

them.

And the said Trustees will not be liable for the Assets so distributed to any Creditor or Creditors who shall fail to comply with the above notice.

OTICE. NICHOLAS BELFIELD DENNYS, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, late Printer, Publisher and Newspaper Proprietor, trading and carrying on business in Victoria aforesaid, under the style or firm of A. Shortrede and Company, but now an editor connected with the China Mail Office, Victoria aforesaid, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court on the Twentieth day of March, A.D. 1868, is hereby required to surrender himself to William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, the Re- gistrar of the said Supreme Court, at the first Meeting of Creditors, to be held before the said Registrar on the Third day of April next, at eleven of the clock in the forenoon precisely at the said Court.

Frederick Sowley Huffam, Esquire, is the Official Assignee, and Mr. William Gaskell is the Solicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

At the Meeting the said Registrar will receive the proofs of the Debts of the Creditors, and the Creditors may choose an Assignce or Assignees of the Bankrupt's Estate and Effects.

All persons having in their possession any of the Effects of the said Bankrupt must deliver them to the said Official Assignee, and all Debts due to the Bankrupt must be paid to the said Official Assignee.
