The Right Honorable The Secretary of State for the Colonies having transmitted to this Government, at the request of the Civil Service Commissioners, a Copy of the Regulations for the Examination of Candidates for the Civil Service of India, to take place in the month of April, 1870, His Excellency SIR RICHARD GRAves MacDonnelL has been pleased to direct that such Regulations shall be open to inspection at this Office.

NOTICE.
His Excellency The GOVERNOR having been pleased to order the publication of Supplementary Census returns for the Year 1868-69, the opportunity will be availed of to correct any accidental omissions which may have been made in the tables already published. Any person, who, being in the Colony on the 1st June last, was not then supplied with a Census paper for himself and household, is requested to send all particulars of numbers, age, sex, and nationality of such household or establishment to this Office, not later than Wednesday next, the 4th Proximo.
