GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
His Excellency SIR RICHARD GRAVES MACDONNELL, C.B., has directed it to be notified that no Chinese Doctor will hereafter be permitted to take charge of a Chinese Emigrant Ship, unless he shall previously have procured and submitted to this Government Certificates from Doctors KERR and WONG at Canton; 1st, as to his personal competency, and 2ndly, as to the sufficiency of the Medicines which he may propose to supply for the voyage.
