Possession.
XXI. Whosoever shall steal or, for any unlawful Purpose, take Stealing from its Place of Deposit for the Time being, or from any Person Passes. having the lawful Custody thereof, any Pass issued under this Ordinance, or shall, without reasonable Excuse, the Proof of which shall lie upon him, receive such Pass, knowing the same to have been feloniously stolen or taken for any unlawful Purpose as aforesaid, shall be guilty of Felony, and being convicted thereof, shall be liable to be imprisoned for any Term not exceeding Two Years with or without Hard Labor.

XXIII. XXIV. XXVII. The City of Victoria for the Purpose of this Ordinance City of shall be deemed to consist of the Districts specified in Section III Victoria of Ordinance No. 7 of 1860, subject to any Alteration thereof by the Governor in Council under Section IV of the said Ordinance.
XXVIII. This Ordinance and Ordinance No. 9 of 1857, except Construction so far as the last mentioned Ordinance is hereby repealed, shall be of Ordinance, read together and construed as One Ordinance.
XXIX. This Ordinance shall commence and take Effect on such Commence- Day as shall hereafter be fixed by Proclamation under the Hand of ment of the Governor.
