Short title.
Punishment
Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as The Stocks Pun- ishment Limitation Ordinance, 1907 ”.
2. The imposition of punishment by public exposure of the stocks in the stocks authorised by section eighty-seven of The Magistrates Ordinance 1890 shall hereafter only be awarded in the ease of offences punishable with imprisonment only.
