Eastern District.

From the East to Murray Barracks,.......

..by a Single Stroke at a time.

Central District.

From Murray Barracks to the Harbor Master's Office,. by a Double Stroke at a tine.

Western District.

From Harbor Master's Office to the extreme West,...by a Treble Stroke at a time. By Command,

NOTICE.

Owners of Tenements assessed to the Police, Lighting, Water and Fire Brigade Rates, are informed that the Rates for the Second Quarter of the year 1871 are payable in advance during and within the month of April next.

Rate Payers are requested to take Notice that Parties in default in payment of rates after the period specified are liable to be sued in the Court of Summary Jurisdiction.
