OTICE. JOSE MARIA GUEDES, the younger, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, Auctioneer to Messrs. H. Jürgens & Co., and some time since trading as an Auc- tioneer and Commission Agent, under the style or firm of "Guedes & Co.," having been adjudg-| ed Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court of Hongkong, in Bankruptcy, on the Seventeenth day of February, A.. 1871, a Puble sitting for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examina- tion, and make application for his discharge, will be held before the Houtalie John Saule, Chief Justice of the said Court, at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, Hongkong, u the Seventh day

"OTICE.—TAI AFFAT otherwise TAI CHE CHIN, of Victoria, in the Colony of Hong- kong, Trader, having been adjudged Bankrupt under a Petition for adjudication of Bankruptcy, filed in the Supreme Court on the Thirty-first day of January, 1871, a Public Sitting for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examination, and make application for his discharge, will be held before the Honorable John Smale, Chief Justice of the said Court, at the Supreme Court House, Victoria, Hongkong, on the Seventh day of April, 1871, at Eleven of the clock in the fore- noon precisely,

At this Meeting proofs of the Debts of the Creditors will be roccived.

William Hastings Alexander, Esquire, is the Oncial Assignee, and Mr. Edmund Sharp, is the Sclicitor acting in the Bankruptcy.

HEUNG WAN KAI, WAI YING WA, IP MENG SAN TONG, LEUNG HIM SHAN TONG, P’UN KwoNG U TONG, T’SE WING ON TONG, SU CHIK SHANG, and YEUNG KING SHEK having entered into partnership to open a Piece Goods Shop in Jervois Street, on the 1st Moon of the 6th Year of Hien Fung, commenced business under the style of MEI LUNG; the busi- ness was carried on until the last month of the 9th Year of Tung Chi, when the accounts were settled in the presence of all Partners and all Debts, (including money loan associations and money borrowed,) both to Chinese and Foreigners were paid.

Notice is now hereby given, that the part- nership hitherto existing between the above named persons has been dissolved by mutual consent, and each person is free to act as he thinks proper.

The sign (trade mark) of the above Firm cannot hereafter be used in any transaction, and the agreement entered into by the partners at the comuneucement of the business has become void.

Persons indebted to the MET LUNG Shop are requested to make payment to the HIM KAT Piece Goods Shop in Sheung Wan, where receipts will be granted,
