POST OFFICE NOTICE.

Ir consequence of the transfer of the British Mail Packets from the Marseilles Line to th between Alexandria and Brindisi, and it being therefore no longer desirable that the Corresponden for Belgium should be sent in the Mails to France, as heretofore, it is recommended with a view more prompt delivery, that Letters, &c. for Belgium should be addressed to be forwarded v Brindisi.
Correspondence for Belgium forwarded via Brindisi, can for the present, only be pre-paid Alexandria at the rate of 12 cents for each ounce on Letters, and 2 cents on each Paper.

It is hereby notified, that the Right Honorable the Earl of Kimberley, Her Majesty's Princip Secretary of State for the Colonies, has been pleased to approve of the appointment of RICHARD YOU Esquire, L. R. C. P. and S. Edin., to be Superintendent of the Government Civil Hospital.
