NOTICE is hereby given that the report has been received from Yehime prefecture relating Sashima staff light which recently built by Yawatahama-machi, on Sashima, Yawatahama-machi harbour, Yehime prefecture, and exhibited since the 20th November,

1920.

TOKYO, November 29th, 1920.

Sashima Staff Light..

Position:-Latitude N. 33° 26' 17"; Longitude E. 132° 21' 37" (the degree added 0011" to that of the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 156).

Description:-Wooden staff consisted of 3 columns bringed together, white. Height of light:-6 "shaku" above the base; 128 "shaku" above the water. Character of light :-Fixed white, (Incandescent electric lamp).

Illuminated are:--The whole horizon.

Power:-50 candles.

Visibility :--8 nautical miles in clear night.

N.B.-If, the light being unwatched, go out by accident, there may be some delay in relighting it.

NOTICE is hereby given that the character, the candle power and visibility of the light of Konasami-jima lighthouse, Hiroshima Bay, province of Aki, have been changed as follows since the 25th November, 1920.

Character of light :-Acetylene gas fixed white.

Power:-120 candles.

Visibility:-11 nautical miles in clear night.

CHINA SEA.

Tientsin District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hai ho Conservancy have marked the extreme end of the South Dykę with an unclassed green light. This light is placed 11' 6" above High Water of Ordinary Spring Tides and is visible through an arc of 112° for a distance of one nautical mile, being open to the line of the "Deep Hole ".
