PRISON DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 355-It is hereby notified, with reference to Government Notification No. 698 of 1900, that separate tenders in duplicate, which should be sealed and clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Prisoners' Provisions, etc.", for the supply and delivery of the Articles therein mentioned to the Prison Department, Hongkong, and the Laichikok Branch Prison, from the 1st February, 1921, to the 31st January, 1922, inclu- sive, will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 24th December, 1920.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $400 as a pledge of the bonâ fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender.
For form of tender apply at the Colonial Secretary's Office.
For any other information apply at the Office of the Assistant Superintendent, Prison Department.
The successful tenderer will be required to sign an agreement and to give security to the satisfaction of the Government in the sum of $2,000.
