Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

No. 623. His Majesty the KING has not been advised to exercise his power of dis- allowance with respect to the following Ordinance:---

Ordinance No. 6 of 1907, entitled-An Ordinance to authorise the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation from time to time to increase the Capital of the said Corpo- ration from the sum of Ten Millions of Dollars to a sum not exceeding the sum of Twenty Millions of Dollars; and to continue incor- porated for a further term of 21 years; and to continue in force for a further period of 21 years the provisions of Section 3 of the Hong- Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ordinance, 1899, with regard to the Excess Issue of Bills and Notes payable to bearer on demand.
