NOTICE is hereby given that, following lighthouse, newly established on Saruyama- misaki, Fukeshi-gun, Prov. of Noto, will be shown on and after the 15th November, 1920.

Saruyama-Misaki Lighthouse.
PositionLat. N. 37° 19' 20"; Long. E. 136° 43′ 21′′ (the degree being added -0° 0' 11" E. to that of the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 120).
Description :--Square concrete tower, white..
Height of light :-30 "shaku" above the base, and 700 “shaku" above the water. Character of light:-2nd order grooped flashing white light, showing a quadruple flashing in quick succession during 23 secs., followed by an eclipse of 37 secs.
Illuminated arc:-From N. 20° 20′ E., through E. and S., to S. 39° W. (the bearings taken from seawards).
Power: 100,000 candles.
Visibility:35 nautical miles in clear night.

W. Entrance to Shimonoseki Strait.
Notice is hereby given that, following lighthouse established on Kanenotsuru-misaki, W. Entrance to Shimonoseki Strait, Inland Sea, has been shown since the 4th November, 1920, and on the same date Kanenotsuru-misaki temporary lighthouse (see Notification No. 1119, July, 1920), was extinguished to be evacuated.

Position:-Lat. N. 33° 54′ 43′′; Long. E. 130° 54′ 48′′ (the degree added 0° 0′ 11′′ to that of the Japanese Admiralty Chart No. 135).
Description-Circular stone tower, white.
Height of light:-25 "shaku" above the base; 28 "shaku" above the water. Character:--Pintches gas occulting white, light 3 secs.; eclipse 3 secs.
