* This return does not contain any of the Typhoon cases, the number of which was so large that a general order had to be issued to the Police to bury all bodies whose death was clearly due to the typhoon, on ascertaining the names of the deceased, (where possible), nationality, sex and probable age,

for purposes of registration.
