No. S. 277.-Terms of proposed Letting of Foreshore and Sea Bed, situate at Lai Chi Kok, New Territories.

Notice is hereby given under section 3 of the Foreshore and Sea Bed Ordinance, 1901, that it is proposed by His Excellency the Governor to let on permit under the said Ordinance a part of the Foreshore and Sea Bed or land covered by the sea situate at Lai Chi Kok in the New Territories, in the Colony of Hongkong, the particulars and area whereof are specified in the Schedule hereto, and the limits and boundaries whereof are shown on a plan which is deposited and may be seen at the Public Works Department, Hongkong, such letting to be granted for a period up to 31st December, 1920, with the option of renewal by the permittee for further periods of six months as may be approved by the Director of Public Works at a rental of $14 per half-year payable in advance. The letting to be in the usual permit form in the Public Works Department and to contain a special covenant that the permittee shall have no right of access to the sea.

NOTICE.

And notice is hereby given that all persons having objections to the granting of such letting must send their objections in writing to the Colonial Secretary before the expiration of a period of one month from 9th October, 1920, in order that the same may be duly considered by His Excellency the Governor in Council.
