OTICE is hereby given that BRUNNER, MOND & Co., LIMITED, Registered Address, Winnington, Northwich, Cheshire. England, Alkali Manufacturers, have on the 15th day of June, 1920, applied for the regis- tration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Marks :---

in the name of BRUNNER, MOND & Co., LIMITED, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The Trade Marks have respectively been used by the Applicants as follows, ciz.: No, 1, for varying periods commencing in the year 1874 and subsequently; and No. 2, for varying periods commencing in the year 1906 and sub- sequently; both in respect of Alkalies used in Manufactures, Photography, or Philosophical Research, Muriate of Ammonia, Sodium Hypo- chlorite, Sodium Chlorate, Sodium Sulphite, Sodium Bisulphite, Sodium Hyposulphite. Ammonium Chloride, Ammonium Sulphate, Ammonium Carbonate, Ammonium Bicarbo nate, Ammonium Nitrate, Ammonium Sulpho- cyanide, Calcium Chloride, Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Hypochlorite, Calcium Sulphite, Cal- cium Hyposulphite. Calcium Bisulphite, tal- cium Sulphate, Dyes, all the said Goods being Chemical Substances included in Class 1; No. 3, since 4th August, 1903, and No. 4, since 18th February, 1903, both in respect of Chemi- cal substances used in manufactures, photo- graphy, or philosophical research, and anti- corrosives all in Class I; the said Trade Mark No. 1, since the year 1885, and since November 1885, and since April 1880 respectively; and the said Trade Mark No. 2, since the year 1906; both in respect of Alkalies included in Class 2, for Agricultural, Horticultural, Veteri- nary, and Sanitary Purposes, in Class 2; also in respect of Bicarbonate of Soda for Use as Food, Salt for use as Food, in Class 42; and also in respect of Sesquicarbonate of Soda for Washing and Scouring Purposes, and Washing Soda for Laundry Purposes, in Class 17.

The above mentioned Trade Marks Nos. 1 and 2 are to be associated with Trade Mark No. 66A of 1899, in Class 1; with Trade Mark No. 66B of 1899, in Class 2; and with Trade Mark No. 2 of 1902, in Class 42.
