No. S. 148.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for road skirting Mount Davis", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 21st day of June, 1920, for con- structing a 20-foot road skirting Mount Davis and connecting Pokfulam and Victoria Roads.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification, and further particulars, apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following report has been received from Hokkaido- government :-

Otaru-Ko No. 1 temporary lighted buoy (see notification No. 187 of Department of Communications, February, 1920), was permanently withdrawn on the 29th of April, 1920; at the same time Otaru-Ko No. 2 temporary lighted buoy changed its name to Otaru-Ko temporary lighted buoy.

Notice is hereby given that Kogane buoy, on S. side of Kogane at Tomioka anchorage S. of Yokohama harbour, has been drifted.

Further notice will be given when the above buoy has been remoored in its due position.

NOTICE is hereby given that Channel Light-beacon, on the western end of Pitman- King Island, Yangtze River, has been moved inshore owing to the washing away of the river bank, its characteristics remaining unchanged.
