GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
Tenders for Contracts for the supply of pro-
visions for the European and Chinese Constables
of the Police Force, for the space of six months
commencing on the 1st January next, and ending on the 30th June, 1880, will be received at this Office until noon of Wednesday, the 10th proximo.
The tenders must be in duplicate and in seal- ed envelopes endorsed "Tender for Police Mess Provisions.”
Forms of tender and all other information
may be obtained at of the Office of the Captain
Superintendent of Police.
The Government does not bind itself to accept
the lowest or any Tender.

Also “ Picked” Sydney Coal, for Office and Household use, to be delivered from Godown in such quantities (not less than ton) as may be required. Coolie hire to be paid by Government. No Tender shall be received unless the person tendering shall produce a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100, as a pledge of the bond fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person shall refuse to carry his Tender.
Form of Tender and any information can be obtained on application at the Offices of the Captain Superintendent of Police, and the Harbour Master.
