GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.
His Excellency the Governor is pleased to irect, under Section XII of The Post Office
Prdinance, 1876,that the hours for closing the
ontract Mails, forwarded by the British Packets,
hall, on and after the 18th instant, be as
llows:--
May of departure,-~
Noon. ----Money Order Office closes.
P.M.--Registry of Letters ceases. Posting
of all printed matter and patterns
ceases.
P.M.----Mails closed, except for Late Letters.
- 5.10 P.M.--Letters may be posted with late fee
of 10 ceuts until
3.30 P.M.-—when the Post Office closes entirely.
3.40 P.M.--Late Letters may be posted on board
the packet with late fee of 10 cents
until time of departure.

號 不及者可付往郵船但因遲寄應納+仙至開行爲度 六 三點半鐘驛務署閉門 三點鐘過四十个面呢凡有善信來遲 十 寄一切書信 三點鐘過十个面呢因遲至十仙之信至到 一 領寄信憑單及截寄印字貨物貨辦 三點鐘除運寄之信外截 百 英國郵船開行之日 正午十二點鐘匯錢所門 兩倞瀔 百八十年九月初七
