EDISON of Menlo Park, New Jersey, United States of America, for Letters Pa- tent for the exclusive use within the Colony of Hongkong, of an Invention known as the Carbon Telephone, for which Letters Patent were on the 30th July, 1877, granted to the said THOMAS A. EDISON in England.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Petition,
Specification and Declaration required herein by Ordinance No. 14 of 1862, have been duly filed in the Office of the Colonial Secretary; and that it is the intention of the said JOSEPH MORRIS, as such Agent as aforesaid, to apply at the sitting of the Executive Council hereinafter mentioned for Letters Patent for the exclusive use within the said Colony of Hongkong of the above named invention, and that a sitting of the Executive Council, before whom the matter of the said petition will come for decision, will be held in the Council Chamber, at the Government Offices, Victoria, Hongkong, on Monday, the Thirtieth May next, at 4 o'clock P.M.
