GOVERNMENT NOTIFICATION.-No. 147. The Hon'ble WILLIAM HENRY MARSH, C.M.G., Colonial Secretary, having this day returned to Hongkong and taken the usual Oaths, has assumed
the Office of Administrator of the Colony during
the absence of the Governor, in accordance with the provisions made in the Royal Letters Patent
under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom
bearing date at Westminster the Ninth day of April, 1877.
