The Honourable WILLIAM HENRY MARSH, Colonial Secretary, has this day taken the usual-Oaths in accordance with the provisions made in the Royal Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom, bearing date at Westminster, the Ninth day of April, 1877, as Officer Administering the Government of Hongkong, during the temporary absence of His Excellency Sir GEORGE FERGUSON
