By His Excellency Sir GEORGE Ferguson Bowen, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished For of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong-

Whorens by Ordinance No. 3 of 1862, intituled An Ordinance to authorise His Excellency the by Proclamation to prohibit the Exportation of Military Stores and other Articles, it is ted that it should be lawful for His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice of the utive Council, by Proclamation to be published in the Hongkong Government Gazette, or in any Oraordinary Gazette, to prohibit, for such period as should be mentioned in such Proclamation. to he exported from the Colony of Hongkong, or to be carried coastwise within the said Colony ugst other things) Arms, Ammunition, Gunpowder, and Military and Naval Stores. And whereas in consequence of certain representations made to me by His Excellency the noy of the Two Kwang, I have determined, with the advice of the Executive Council of this y to prohibit such exportation for the period hereinafter mentioned; Now, therefore.
