having any Claims or Demands upon or against the Estate of the said Sin HARRY SMITH PARKES, who died in Peking, in the Empire of China, on the 22nd day of March, 1885, and Leiters of Administration to whose Exdate were granted by the Supreme Court of i Hongkong, in its Probate Jurisdiction, to the

undersigned, one of the Executors named in the Will of the deceased, are hereby required to send in writing to the undersigned, on or before the 31st day of October; 1885, the full particulars of their Claims or Demands.

And Notice is hereby also given that as soon as possible after the expiration of the period above mentioned, the undersigned will proceed to distribute the Assets of the said SIR HARRY SMITH PARKES, deceased. amongst the parties entitled thereto, having regard only to the Claims of which he sball then have had notice and that he will not be liable for the Assets or any part thereof so distributed to any Person or Persons, of whose Claim or Clains he shall not have had notice at the time of the distri- bution.

All Persons iudebted to the Estate are re- quested to make immediate payment to the undersigned.
