The following Regulations made by His Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires and hereby declared to be urgent, are published for general information.

King's Regulations made under Article 155 of The China Order in Conneil, 1904", and Article 13 of “The China (Amendment) Order in Council, 1917”.

No. 12 of 1920.

REGULATIONS REPEALING WAR REGULATIONS,

1. The following King's Regulations are hereby repealed :---

The Employment by the Enemy Regulations, 1916 ".

"The Trading with the Enemy (Consolidation) Regulations, 1917”.

A

The Trading with the Enemy (Amendment) Regulations, 1917".

"The Trading with the Enemy (Amendment) Regulations, 1918".

"The Trading with the Enemy (Transfer of Enemy Dividends Account) Regu-

lations, 1919 ".

“The Peace with Germany Regulations, 1920”.

"The Peace with Austria Regulations, 1920“.

but this repeal shall not---

(0) Affect the past operation of those Regulations or any of them, or any appointment made, or any right, title, obligation, or liability accrued, or the validity of anything done or suffered under any of those Regulations, before the making of those Regulations;

(b) Interfere with the institution or prosecution of any proceedings or action, criminal or civil, in respect of any offence committed against, or forfei- tare incurred, or liability accrued under or iu consequence of any provi- sion of, those Regulations.

(c) Take away or abridge any protection or benefit given or to be enjoyed in

relation thereto.

2. These Regulations may be cited as "The War Regulations Repeal Regulations, 1920 ".

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 568-11 is hereby notified that, the Government of the Netherlands having denounced the Brussels Sugar Convention with effect from the 1st September, 1920, Certificates of Origin will no longer be required for sugar imported into that country.
