Be it remembered, that on the

called the sureties came personally before me, a Magistrate of Police in the Colony of Hongkong, and acknowledged themselves to owe to Our Lady the Queen, to wit,-the said licensee the sum of Three hundred Dollars, and the said sureties cach the sum of Three hundred Dollars of lawful current Dollars of Hongkong, to be respectively levied of their several goods and chattels, lands and tenements, to the use of Our said Lady the Queen, Her Heirs, and Successors, in case default shall be made in the performance of the conditions hereunder written :-
The conditions of this Recognisance are such, that whereas the said licensee is to be licensed to keep a Public House, and to sell intoxicating liquors, at the sign of the
