No. 310-His Majesty the KING has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance with respect to the following Ordinances :-
Ordinance No. 1 of 1920.--An Ordinance to make provision with regard to the execution of instruments under seal by the agents of certain foreign corporations.
Ordinance No. 3 of 1920. An Ordinance to modify certain provisions of the Treaty of Peace Order, 1919, for the purpose of adapting the provisions of the Order to the cir- cumstances of the Colony of Hongkong.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.
No. 311. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Commander CHARLES WILLIAM MALBEYSE BECKWITH, R.N., to act as Harbour Master, Marine Magistrate, and Emigration Officer, cice Captain BASH. REGINALD HAMILTON TAYLOUR, R.N., retired, with effect from the 29th May, 1920. He will continue to perform in addition the duties of Superintendent, Imports and Exports Department, until further notice.

No. 312. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant- Commander WALTER CONWAY HAKE, R.N.R., to act as Assistant Harbour Master, with effect from the 1st June, 1920.

No. 313.- With reference to Government Notification No. 13 of the 10th March, 1919, it is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN DANIEL LLOYD to be Custodian of Enemy Property, with effect from the 1st June, 1920, and until further notice.

With reference to Government Notification No. 274 of the 7th May, 1920, it is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. JOHN DANIEL LLOYD to be Controller of the Local Clearing Office for the purposes of the Treaty of Peace Order in Council, 1919, with effect from the 1st June, 1920, and until further notice.

No. 315.-It is hereby notified that during the absence from the Colony of Sir CATCHICK PAUL. Chater, Kt., C.M.G., Consul General for Siam in Hongkong, Mr. HORACE PERCY SMITH has been appointed Acting Consul General in charge of the Consulate General.
