SIR,-I have the honour to transmit to you, for the information of the Colony under your Govern- ment, the accompanying copy of a Proclamation, issued by Her Majesty the Queen, by and with the advice of the Privy Council, respecting certain changes in the designs, &c., of the Gold and Silver Coins, and the issue of a new Silver Coin called the Double Florin.

I have to request that you will take steps to publish this Proclamation in the usual inanner in the Colony under your Government.
